Excellent Thesis Award for Matthias Robert Kern's PhD Dissertation

Matthias Robert Kern has successfully defended his PhD dissertation in 2020 in the presence of his supervisors Prof. Dr. Helmut Willems and Dr. Andreas Heinz (University of Luxembourg) and Prof. Dr. Matthias Richter (University of Halle, Germany). The jury was headed by Prof. Dr. Thomas Boll, and accompanied by Dr. Irene Moor (University of Halle).

For his innovative and ground-breaking research on health, well-being and health behavior among immigrant adolescents in Luxembourg, the Doctoral School in Humanities and Social Sciences (DSHSS) awarded him the Excellent Thesis Award in January 2021.

Created recently by the Doctoral School, the Excellent Thesis Award distinguished Matthias Robert Kern together with 39 graduates of the Academic Year 2019/2020.
